Planning a Meaningful Farewell

If you are reading this website, you have probably just experienced the shock of losing a loved one or are anticipating that painful event soon. With compassion and understanding, we can help you with all aspects of  the end of life tributes you may be planning in Tucson or Southeastern Arizona.. A well-planned funeral or memorial service is not only a tribute to your loved one, but it is also an important part of the grieving process for you and your family.  We sometimes call a memorial service “a celebration of life,” and it should be exactly that as it honors the beliefs and individuality of the deceased. 

 Funerals allow us to mark the significance of the person and their impact on our own lives.  It is our chance to say “this life mattered.”

As your funeral officiant, I can help you arrange a meaningful ceremony so you can celebrate the life of your loved one while you say goodbye. We will meet
in your home or other convenient spot.

By listening closely to the recollections of friends
 and relatives of the deceased, I will gather inform-
ation for  a eulogy that will be a warm and loving tribute. Family and friends may wish to contribute
to the service, and  I will help to coordinate their participation.  I can suggest music, poetry and
readings that will be appropriate for your loved
one’s personality and spiritual beliefs.

Once the ceremony is written, you will have the opportunity to approve it before it is delivered. Nothing is imposed on you.  After the service, you will receive a beautiful keepsake copy of the ceremony.

Nothing can take away the pain you feel after the death of a loved one, but a genuine, well-prepared tribute may help ease your grief.  When you want an uplifting and life-centered service, a celebrant ceremony is the answer.

Graveside or Scattering Services

  I will be happy to prepare a simple but meaningful graveside or scattering service.  After a longer service, I will accompany you to the cemetery or scattering area and perform a brief committal ceremony as the casket or urn is put into its final resting place or the ashes are scattered.
