Carolyn Niethammer is an ordained civil celebrant, an award-winning biographer and the author of nine books. She is a passionate believer in the necessity and power of meaningful memorial services and other rites of passage. She has studied rituals in many cultures.
Carolyn is a graduate of the International College of Celebrancy with a diploma in Funeral Celebrancy and holds a master’s degree from the University of Arizona.

Dee Cox has worked as a potter for 35 years. Her work has been sold at
Dee has recently turned to making beautiful and unique urns to hold cremation ashes. The designs are spiritual, evocative of the mystery of death, and some even have a touch of whimsy.
